New CD by Daniel Kahn & The Painted Bird
Titled The Broken Tongue, Yiddish singer-songwriter and Berlin-based Daniel Kahn's new release featuring Kahn on vocals, accordion, piano and guitar. The CD features a large cast of talented characters in the Klezmer and Jewish music scene from Berlin, New York City and points elsewhere.

Nikitov Amulet nominated for award
Nikitov's debut CD "Amulet" has been nominated for "Best Klezmer Album" in the 2006 Just Plain Folks Music Awards. The ceremony will be held November 4, 2006.
