Harold learned to play the guitar by playing along with his Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian LPs. Nowadays he is a well-known guitarist for acoustic Jazz, Gypsy music and Klezmer. And he likes to write music. For his own New Hot Trio, but also for the Hot Club de Frank. Listen to Het Bloemenmeisje on the album Heel de band is favoriet or to the title song of the album Op de bonnefooi. Besides the Harold Berghuis New Hot Trio and the Hot Club de Frank, Harold also plays in the famous Dutch Klezmer band Mazzeltov.
