The Harold Berghuis New Hot Trio plays Hot Jazz, just as it was in Paris in the late thirties. But in the hands of this trio from The Netherlands the old sound of the Quintette du Hot Club de France changes into surprisingly contemporary music. This is Hot Jazz as they play it in Amsterdam today. This is New Hot.

But Hot or New Hot, it's still Gypsy Jazz in the tradition of the legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt. His compositions form the musical starting point of each performance.
