The debut CD by Haarlem, Netherlands native Jelle van Tongeren. Chamsa Records releases a collection of Jelle's orginals mixed with classic jazz standards. Gypsy Jazz in the Hot Club tradition made famous by the French Gypsy guitarist Django Rheinhardt. Featuring two of the great guitarists in the Gypsy Jazz scene, Robin Nolan and Reinier Voet.

Jelle van Tongeren began playing classical violin at the age of seven. By the age of seventeen, his interests in classical music changed. He studied Gypsy Jazz with violinist Herman van Haaren while playing in numerous ensembles and soon enrolled at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with instructors Rob Madna and Daniel Otten. Jelle has performed at many festivals, including The North Sea Jazz Festival and Haarlem Jazz Fest. In addition to his own group, he performs regularly with Nikitov, Mens en van Tongeren, The Hot Club de Frank and the colorful world music ensemble Unza Unza.
